Darrick "DJ" Johnson is a former collegiate and professional football player turned tech executive and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Compton, California, DJ grew up in one of the country’s most challenging environments, where the odds of surviving a drive-by shooting were greater than graduating from college. 

Defying statistics and societal expectations, he earned his degree from Georgetown University and went on to hold leadership roles at global tech giants like Apple, Dell, and Microsoft.

 DJ shares his journey from the streets of Compton to the boardrooms of Silicon Valley. His message is raw, real, and inspiring. With themes of resilience, grit, representation, and reinvention, DJ helps audiences reflect on the systems that shape us—and how we can rise above them.
